Cohesive Networks Finalist for 2 DCS Awards 2017

Data Centre Solutions Awards highlight VNS3 and VNS3:turret in 2017 Award Lineup

6th April 2017 – London – Cohesive Networks are finalists in two categories in the Data Centre Solutions Awards: Data Centre Cloud Project of the Year and Data Centre ICT Networking Product of the Year.

About the Award Nominations

VNS3:turret is nominated for the Data Centre Cloud Project of the Year. VNS3:turret is unique in that it is the only virtual security software that protects critical applications in any network with encrypted overlays and monitoring. No cloud provider or hardware vendor offers the same level of control and security and no other technology cannot guarantee the full accountability of end-to-end encryption for user-controlled security. Application-centric network security with VNS3:turret can help organisations achieve greater security and granular control. VNS3:turret makes data centre resources invisible and undetectable as critical data moves inside networks and between virtualised environments.

Cohesive Networks’ core product, VNS3, is nominated for the Data Centre ICT Networking Product of the Year. VNS3 is a software-only virtual appliance that allows users to control access and network topology and secure al data in motion. Users control a secure, scalable, highly available, meshed network distributed across multiple public and private clouds to create one logical group of federated resources.

Over 2,100 connected customers in more than 22 countries rely on VNS3 to provide more than 500 million devices hours of application networking. VNS3 offers additional layer 4-7 services using a container system. Customers can create their own “in mesh” application plugins. VNS3 use cases range from creating a simple VPN tunnel to building distributed cloud networks for SSL termination, middleware load balancing, intrusion/extrusion detection, and high availability.
