The Content Marketer is at the heart of the Cohesive Networks brand. Telling product and customer stories sells the company to existing customers, new users, and investors. New, useful content and an analytical perspective will help you flourish in this role.

About the Position:

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create content: print, social, video, and web
  • Work with sales, partnering, and support teams to highlight new product features, industry news, and customer stories
  • Create and maintain a consistent brand across website, ads, social, sales materials, and in-person events
  • Work in a fast-pace environment under minimal supervision
  • Maintain and expand press coverage and analyst interactions
  • Grow online advertising presence via Google AdWords, social media management, and SEO
  • Provide product training and sales support when required
  • Willing to travel 2-3 times per year for trade shows and conferences, as well as regionally for marketing and user group events
  • Willing to support team members and take on new tasks as needed


  • BS degree or combination of education and experience in writing, marketing, social media management, branding, and/or B2B product marketing.
  • Experience working across sales, PR, HR, marketing, and content teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication, customer service, and account management skills
  • Solid multi-tasking, troubleshooting, and problem resolution abilities
  • Self-starter and quick learner with desire to continually learn new tools and technologies

Desired Experience

  • Marketing for a B2B cloud computing software company

  • Experience managing sales cycles and leads on CRM (Salesforce, Capsule, etc)

  • Experience managing social media (Sprout Social, Hootsuite, TweetDeck, etc)

  • Experience managing and editing content on websites (Joomla! Drupal, or WordPress) using CSS, PHP, and HTML

  • Experience managing HTML email services (MailChimp, MyEmma, Constant Contact, etc)

Just like our software, our team is software, vendor, and education agnostic. All new hires spend roughly 2 weeks in the Chicago Headquarters to get to know the team and take the “Cohesive Class.”
